Your points total is over 100 according to the data you put in.
When you have 100-155 points in your Expression of Interest (EOI) you are able to submit an EOI but it may not be selected. In this range, the required number of points varies each fortnightly selection depending on demand. You’re very unlikely to be successful unless you have:
- A job or job offer for skilled employment, or
- Claimed bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
As your total is based on your data. It is not always straightforward to know if your qualifications or work experience will be accepted, or even what some terms actually mean, such as “skilled employment”, “future growth area” or “absolute skills shortage”. That’s why many people choose to use a Licensed Immigration Adviser like us to give them support while applying the visa.
If you are in New Zealand or have had a job offer from New Zealand, you can now get a FREE 10 minutes’ consultation from one of our Licensed Immigration Advisers. Don’t miss this limited chance. Book an appointment online now. (中文服务请预约华人持牌顾问Sarah Wang)
If you are still in your home country, we think that the best option is that you consider the Study-to-Residence Pathway (download our eBook here). By studying in New Zealand for a relatively short part of your life, you are legally permitted to work, meet employers, and learn about our employment culture AND you are not subject to the Labour Market Test AND your study can give you 20-40% extra points towards Residency.
Most importantly, the chance to get a skilled job in New Zealand and get granted approval for a Residence Visa is MUCH higher if you have studied in New Zealand. You can fill out our online assessment here to start the application: http://www.choosenewzealand.com/en/how-can-we-help/study-apply-now/
