All Star Infinity try outs will be held on the 19th November 2017 at 4pm. At 14B Manga Rd, Silverdale.
We plan to offer teams from level 1 - level 4. Age groups and number of teams will be dependent on the athletes who attend try outs as this will influence the way we are able to build our teams to all be productive and gain the best results.
By accepting a place on one of our teams (your acceptance can be recognised by the payment of the camp fee and/or attendance at our trainings) you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as set out in our handbook. A copy of the 2018 handbook will be emailed out at the time of the team announcements and will available on our website and uploaded to each of the teams facebook groups.
We realise that joining an elite team is a huge commitment in both time and finance. Cheerleading is unique to many other sports as we do not have subs or additional team members - we expect all of our team members to be actively involved in all aspects of the routine, and carefully plan our teams to best meet the requirements of the scoresheet.
Athletes and their families should therefore understand that the commitment to this is on par with other elite sporting teams - if you are unable to make this commitment then we do have some fabulous recreational teams which do not require the same level of time or financial commitment.
The most important points to note is our code of conduct and attendance policy.
Elite team membership is from January 15th 2018 until December 15th 2018 withdrawl prior to the end date will incur rechoreography fees. Intention to withdraw must be submitted in writing and a 3 month notice period should either be advised in advance or paid in leiu of the notice period.
Attendance: We do have certain times in the year where we cannot have absences from our teams. This is generally is during the competition season (June - November) this includes any absences 4 weeks prior to a competition and includes family holidays, school camps, sporting trips and school productions (to name a few). Absence in this time may result in the cheerleader having their spot either changed, or they may be unable to compete (this will depend on when the absence falls and the make up of the team).
Social media - please check our social media policy in the handbook.
We are not outlining this informtion to put anyone off, we would like everyone who joins our teams to be fully informed of the commitment they are making.
A full explaination of our elite team expectations and requirements can be found in our handbook.
If you cant make this time the please scheudle another time with us for a try out by emailing office@infinitycheer.co.nz
