This form is for any Master Spas product owner (warranty & non-warranty related), located in the west San Francisco Bay Area, covering the entire Peninsula, south to San Jose and along the coast south to Santa Cruz. Other areas may be considered. This form is provided by Coastside Spas, an authorized service provider. Coastside Services is a contractor for Master Spas, we are not Master Spas.
You MUST register your spa online with Master Spa before any warranty service can be provided! PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME YOUR DEALER DID THIS FOR YOU. If you are not sure, then Click Here to register your new spa directly with Master Spas.
Trip charges are not covered under the Master Spa warranty, unless preauthorized. If you purchased your spa from Master Pool and Spa (that dealer only) at a spa show, you might be covered for all or a portion of the trip charge within 60 days of the registered install/delivery date. The trip charge is based on the hourly-round trip time from our location in La Honda, CA to the service address, at the current hourly rate of $60. This rate is subject to change. Each subsequent trip will incur a trip charge. Payment of the trip charge is required either in advance or at the time of completion of the visit (at our discretion). Payment accepted by card, check or cash.
It is very important you communicate any access issues! These can range from having your spa surrounding by potted plants up to having your spa built into a deck. Access issues involving spas that are NOT standing free and clear on all 4 sides and/or installed in a deck may incur a charge for the additional labor required to access the spa. Access issues are NOT covered under the warranty.
If the technician is unable to access the spa, the service call will not be considered under warranty and you will be required to pay for the entire service call. This will include all time spent on site plus the round-trip trip charge.
We certainly want to be fair and reasonable about access issues, so the more we know before we arrive, the better we can plan for your visit and ensure it goes smoothly for all concerned.
Certain items are not covered under the warranty as outlined in your documentation, such as fuses, light bulbs (non LED). If the parts being replaced are determined to be defective due to damage from misuse or neglect or improper installation you may be responsible for the cost of parts and labor.
NON-WARRANTY Labor rate - $140 per hour with a 1 hour minimum charge. Additional time, after the initial hour, will be billed in 15-minute increments.
