Due to privacy and the nature of what we do, it is imperative that under no circumstances, photographs are taken at our STGA events without permission of STGA Directors.
This policy is strictly to protect the rights, the privacy and the cultural sensitivity of the women we support. Under no circumstances can any person that identifies as an indigienous person ever be published in any format in under garments. This is imperative and must be adhere to by all service providers.
Our STGA management has a good understanding of all the issues that can be caused from unauthorised use of sensitive photo's, published on social media or pubicly, which is why we have always kept our pictures to a minimum.
Our bra fitting days are not about us, or promoting business, they are wholely and soley about supporting the women. If we have written permission we will post them, but often they will contact us a few days later asking for their pictures to be removed. We do so immediately.
At our STGA events, all women who do not want their photo's taken are given wrist bands which easily identifies them as no picture people. If you are not sure on the day please ask one of the STGA volunteers.
As a service provider, you are most welcome to promote and share any official Support The Girls Australia pictures on social media on your websites. Our tags are #STGA or #supportthegirlsaustralia #brafairies #STGAempowers #empoweringwomenwithdignityonebraatatime
Should you wish to do any other promotion, incorportaing STGA name or logo, or content, approval must be granted prior to use by STGA Directors.
