  • hereinafter referred to as "Client", AND Victoria Grech, Sole Proprietor of Murder for Hire whose address is 1-73 Maitland Street, London, Ontario, referred to hereinafter as "Murder for Hire."

  • Parties to This Agreement

    1. The Client, in order to properly conduct its business, retains Murder for Hire. Murder for Hire is duly licensed to carry on business in the province of Ontario.

     

  • Services to be Provided.

    2. During the length of this contract, Murder for Hire shall provide the following services:

    • 5-7 actors in full costume – script dependent at the director’s discretion
    • Choice of standard or tailored script - sufficient notice required for tailored script and additional fees apply.
    • Music & sound effects (including equipment)
    • Necessary props
    • Audience participation material

  • 3. During the length of this contract the Client will provide services as follows:

    • Promotion and ticket sales for the event (if applicable)
    • Venue and seating for guests & cast (we prefer 1 cast character per table if possible)
    • To provide “Venue Requirements” (list of Venue Requirements found below) to the venue contact person
    • Three course meal for guests & cast (the cast will join your guests for the meal)
    • Bar services (if required)

    We will be arriving about 1/2 - 1 hour before the meal service and we (the characters) will greet your guests as they arrive.

    We will have a scripted scene prior to the meal starting and then another scene in between each course of the meal.

    The murder takes place at the end of the main course, following which, your guests will come up to look at the body and the evidence and fill in their ballot as to what they think happened.

    The dessert can be served at this time and we will carry on with our last scene which spells out the solution while your guests have dessert. 

    The time allowance (not including set-up or tear-down) for your entertainment shall not exceed a duration of 3 hours. Entertainment begins as soon as the doors open and guests arrive until completion of the awards proceeding the scripted scenes. Additonal time may be requested in advance and will be subject to a surcharge.

    • Balance due in accordance with invoice provided prior to commencement of performance.

  • Termination of Agreement

    7. This agreement may be terminated by either party on thirty (30) days’ notice to the other party in writing, without penalty to either party, or after that time by client with forfeiture of deposit by the client.


    Entire Agreement

    8. This contract expresses the entire agreement between the Client and Murder for Hire regarding this matter. This agreement can only be modified with another written agreement signed by both the Client and the representative of Murder for Hire. This agreement shall be binding upon both the Client and Murder for Hire and their respective heirs, legal representatives and successors in interest.


    Independent Contractors

    9. Both, Murder for Hire and the Client agree that the relationship created by this agreement is that of independent contractor and not that of employee and employer. Murder for Hire is responsible for the payment of any taxes, including without limitation, all Federal, Provincial and local personal and business income taxes, sales and use taxes, other business taxes and license fees arising out of the activities of Murder for Hire.
