    • 7:00 am - Morning Meditation
    • 7:30 am - Breakfast
    • 8:30 am - Clearing: Foot soak in the river, shoe-beat, camphoring, head massage
    • 10:00 am - Seminar/Open Forum: Topic (To be confirmed) [Facilitator(s) - TBC]
    • 11:00 am - Sahaj Creative Workshop: Music, singing, art (TBC)! [Facilitator(s) - TBC]
    • 12:00 pm - Prepare lunch / Lunch
    • 2:00 pm - Rest
    • 2:30 pm - Puja set up / Prepare dinner

  • REGISTRATION COSTS

  • Costs (inclusive of accommodation and food)

    • Adults: $70
    • Superannuants: $50
    • Yuva Shaktis: $50
    • Children (12 - 5 years old): $30
    • Children under-5: Free

    After submitting your registration, you will receive an email confirming your registration and the total amount to pay. Please pay the amount requested before the due date. We will not accept any payment during the Puja weekend, except for donations. This is to minimise cash handling.

    Please note:

    * The above costs are irrespective of whether you stay for 1 night or 2 nights.

    ** There are no fixed costs for yogis attending only the Puja on Saturday and not staying the night. Contribute any amount you deem as appropriate.

    *** Puja donation is $5 per person, separate to the costs listed above (transfer online to Donation account or donate at Puja).

  • PRASAD, FLOWERS AND BAKED GOODS

  • Please bring baked goods for morning and afternoon tea, and prasad, flowers and vase for Puja.

    You can also bake cookies or snacks for morning and afternoon tea, and make your own prasad at the venue. There are plenty of cooking appliances, fridges, stoves and ovens.

  • Ngamuwahine Lodge is off the State Highway 29 that runs through the Kaimai Range.  The entrance to Ngamuwahine Road is highlighted by 2 blue containers, one on top of the other, see photo.

    For those approaching from the East (Bay of Plenty) the entrance is on your RIGHT. For those approaching from the West (Waikato) the entrance is on your LEFT.  The road from the state highway to the lodge is a narrow and winding road. Please drive with care and try to arrive before dark.

     

     

  • VENUE

    Ngamuwahine Lodge is an outdoor education centre nestled at the foot of the Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park.  Tramping and bush walks are on the doorstep. We can foot soak in the Ngamuwahine River, not far from the lodge. The lodge has rooms with beds and dormitory-style accommodation (bunk & platform beds, with mattresses supplied).

    ** PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING WARM CLOTHES, WINTER JACKET, SLEEPING BAG, BED LINEN and SUITABLE WALKING/TRAMPING SHOES **

  • Please select the meals you require for the weekend. This will help us to purchase the necessary quantity of food. Friday dinner is pot-luck - bring a plate to share. Saturday and Sunday meals will be provided. 

  • Food Preparation, Havan Setup, Puja Setup and Cleaning Teams

  • This is a national Puja retreat weekend. There are no teams assigned to any of the above activities or tasks. Let's work together and make this a joyful Puja weekend!
