Username Policy

Cryptic Shadow eSports™

Since we are going to host our own tournaments and clan activities in the future, we are getting strict on the usernames our members set. As some of us are trying to go pro and possibly reach the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) or RLRS, we want our members to not relate to any current RL elite's username (e.g. your username must not relate in any way to Squishy's username). You may be a fan of one of the RLCS elites and we're not stopping you from watching them however please abide to the username rules when joining the clan.

DO:

• Choose a username that best suits your personality, likes or the account.
• Try using an online generator such as Spinxo.com if you need inspiration.

DON'T:

• Use your full name
• Copy an RLCS/RLRS elite's username in any way, even tags.
• Use a combination of random numbers or letters (e.g. X0Xfir3cr33p3rX0X)

If you wish to change your username during your time in the clan, please inform a Community Manager of your name change for approval. Having unusual or inappropriate names for our clan, our eSports team especially, will not give us the greatest impression online, so please choose your name(s) wisely!

Clan Terms

To complete the admission to join CRYPT, you must adhere to the following clan terms.

• Activity - we recruit active and competitive players to the clan. Please be active in Rocket League at least every two days. If you are going to be away for a period of time, please inform one of the region leads on your absence.
• Rank - we recruit active players from any rank, however we're mostly looking for players in Diamond or above.
• Clubs - if you are already part of a club in Rocket League but wish to join Cryptic Shadows, please make sure you have left any clubs you are part of before joining. If your clan however wants to partner with us instead of disbanding, please inform your club leader to directly contact our clan lead so a partnership can be organised.
  It is required that all members join the clan in Rocket League after you have joined the Discord server (unless partnering).
• Be Nice - cooperate with other members in the clan. You will not direct hateful slurs, words or racist content towards anyone in the clan. Treat everyone like they're family and you'll be treated the same way.
• Weekend Qualifiers - the Qualifiers are there for the clan tournaments. If you wish to participate in the future tournaments we're hosting, it is required that you participate in the weekend Qualifiers so our clan leads can assign a 3s and 2s squad to you. More information is in our Discord server/website regarding Qualifiers.

Rules:

• No excessive swearing/profanity - profanity is allowed in the clan however do not direct it towards anyone in the server or swear excessively.
• No NSFW/NSFL content - this content is not permitted in any clan groups, especially the Discord server. This content is extremely offensive to others.
• NO RACISM OR DISCRIMINATION - do NOT post any such content in the Discord server or any clan groups as you will be immediately banned from the clan. You will not be able to join again if this occurs.
• No spamming - please do not spam the Discord server or any clan groups as it does get annoying for others. You do not need to spam to get our attention.
• No self-promotion - do not promote yourself in any other channel or group chat unless there is a self-promotion channel. Any other channels and the messages will be removed.

Tournaments are one of the many goals CRYPT have set. To be able to participate in any of them, you have to meet the requirements for each.

There may be other planned activities in the future for everyone in CRYPT, however they're mostly just-for-fun activities and not taken seriously as some other events may be.
