  • REFUND POLICY

    A Refund Form must be filled out for any refund request; be it Merchandise, Classes (also requires a cancellation form), Kiosk Items etc. This can be accessed via our website www.gymsports.net.au.

    Money back guarantee
    This is offered as a courtesy to new members. We are not obligated by law to give any refund in this situation. Gymsports Management offers a full money back guarantee to new members if they decide to cancel within their first month (31 days from first class) including the registration fee. New members being defined as; people who have not participated in a term-fee program before. This allows new customers to try out the class and make sure it is what they are looking for.
     
    Change of Mind
    We are not obliged by law to give any refund in this situation.

    Medical/Illness
    We are not obliged by law to give any refund in this situation. A medical certificate is to be attached to the Refund Form. A credit will only be given (for the classes not attended) if the participant has missed 3 weeks of classes or more. Any less than this, the customer may book courtesy make-up classes (if available). Make up classes can only be booked in the term and not carried over terms. The Annual Registration Fee cannot be refunded in this instance.
     
    Special circumstances
    We are not obliged by law to give any refund in this situation. A courtesy credit or refund may be granted in a special such as such as: death or serious illness in the family, car accident, divorce in the family etc. Special circumstances are not: change of mind, change in timetable, extended holidays or financial reasons.

    Merchandise (GymShop)
    Refunds or exchanges are offered on merchandise as long as they remain in original packaging, unworn or merchandise which was damaged at the time of purchase.
     
    Financial hardship
    If the customer wishes to cancel due to financial reasons, Team Leaders may offer Financial Assistance (see Financial Assistance Application Form).
     
    Note: Concession Discount:
    Concession discounts apply if the customer has proof of concession upon registration and booking for the child or for the direct care giver of that child; be it a photocopy of the card attached to the enrolment form, or showing the card in person at reception upon enrolment. Refunds for the concession discount will not be given if the customer did not show proof of concession upon booking into the class. It is the customer’s responsibility to request the concession discount upon booking.

    Note: Fortnightly Fees (including Team Programs):
    The customer may cancel their fortnightly fees at any time by filling out the Cancellation of Membership Form. Cancellation and cease of direct debit will occur upon date of receipt of the completed Cancellation of Membership Form. Note: to ensure the next direct debit payment is ceased (transactions are Thursday fortnightly), cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to the debit date (please refer to direct debit calendar for specific dates). No refund is given for classes missed prior to the date of receipt of the form, we encourage customers to attend the classes they have paid for as we do not refund for these lessons.
