About Orange Sky
Orange Sky Australia (OS) is a not-for-profit organisation focused on the provision of free laundry and showers to people experiencing homelessness. We're growing, and fast. Since 2014, we've expanded our reach to every capital city in Australia and most recently, we have established Orange Sky New Zealand. Next steps include further growth in New Zealand, urban and remote Australia, and potentially elsewhere across the globe.
If volunteers are the fuel that powers our organisation, the Regional Program Coordinators are the wheels that keep us on the road, and moving forward.
Reporting to the Program Manager, this key role in the Operations Team, in a nutshell, is responsible for:
the day to day operational management of services in their region;
leading the roll out of new services;
recruiting, training and providing ongoing support to volunteers;
incident reporting management; and
actively contributing to the ongoing development of Orange Sky operational procedures and services
Based at our HQ in Brisbane and responsible for services across the state including the Gold Coast, Greater Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and North Queensland, this role will involve some overnight travel.
We need someone who knows how to have lots of balls in the air that can’t be dropped, can think on the fly, and get creative to make things happen.
Convinced this is the role for you? Tick some boxes!
Our perfect fit has relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally has experience in a similar role within a fast-paced organisation within the community services sector, and working with a large volunteer base.
Believe in what we do. To be successful at Orange Sky, you need a genuine passion for our cause. We’re proud of our achievements in just four years. We want likeminded, intrinsically motivated people who’re keen to jump on board, hit the ground running and become part of the family.
