HOW TO ENTER
Read the conditions of entry to ensure your entry is eligible:
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists who reside in the traditional areas of Worimi, Biripi, Dhanggatti and Gumbaynggirr nations can enter up to six artworks in any format completed in the last 12 months.
2. Delivery of Entry Form and Artwork/s
The artist must submit the completed entry form and images of the artworks by 4.00pm Friday 29 March 2019.
All artworks entered will go through a selection process by the curator.
Only artworks selected will go through to the exhibition.
SWFW will contact artists with the outcome of the selection process by 4pm Friday 26 April 2019.
Successful artists must deliver their selected artworks to the Glasshouse Regional Gallery, Corner of Clarence and Hay Streets, Port Macquarie on Monday 20 May 2019.
3. Return of Artworks
Artworks must be picked up from the Wadjar Gallery after the completion of the exhibition by Monday 10 February 2020.
4. Freight of Artworks
The artist is responsible for the delivery of their selected artworks to the Glasshouse Regional Gallery on Monday 20 May 2019 and collection of the artworks from the Wadjar Aboriginal Art Gallery at the close of the exhibition. Artworks must be picked up from the Wadjar Gallery after the completion of the exhibition by Monday 10 February 2020.
SWFW will be responsible for freight of the works for the duration of the tour.
Freight support is available on application to SWFW.
SWFW will provide insurance cover for the transportation of works for the duration of the tour. The Glasshouse Regional Gallery, Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery, Manning Regional Gallery and Wadjar Aboriginal Art Gallery will cover insurance of all artwork during the exhibition period.
6. Selection and Display of Works
Entry is not a guarantee of artworks being selected.
All selected works must remain in the 2019 SWFWAAA exhibition until the completion of the tour at Wadjar Aboriginal Art Gallery. Unsold artworks will be available for pick up from Monday 10 February 2020.
The 2019 SWFWAAA exhibition dates are below:
Glasshouse Regional Gallery 24 May 2019 to 6 July 2019
Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery 19 July 2019 to 14 September 2019
Manning Regional Gallery 18 October 2019 to 30 November 2019
Wadjar Aboriginal Art Gallery 14 December 2019 to 8 February 2020
All selected works must be clearly labelled on the back with the artist’s name, title of work and a directional arrow and or word.

8. Framing and Size
All works including its packaging must be light enough to be moved and installed by no more than two people.
9. Sales and commission
All work must be available for sale. Sale price includes a commission of 33% (GST included) which will be deducted from the sale price on all works sold.
SWFW reserves the right to reproduce any works entered for the SWFWAAA for archival, catalogue or publicity purposes only. The signed entry form is evidence of the artist’s consent.
