Derharv Puppy Application
Thanks for completing this application! At first glance, you might think is a little long - are all these questions really necessary? We hand-raise all of our puppies in our home with our children and love them, and we hope you love your puppy, too.

Every family is different, and there are no right or wrong answers. We know many families have two working adults and we don't expect anyone to be a superhero and quit a day job just to be able to take home a puppy. Every puppy family has different needs, and this application helps us identify who needs what information and what homes might make the best fit. If you're a veteran GSD owner, we don't want to waste your time regaling things you already know; by the same token, if this is your first puppy or first GSD, we want to make sure you leave prepared for what life with a puppy may bring. So again, thank you!

Puppy Preference
We completely understand the urge for potential puppy parents to want to come visit our puppies. We do not allow any visitors until the puppy are 6 weeks of age. This allows their mothers plenty of time to bond with them, often females are protective of their new babies until around then. At 6 weeks of age the puppies will also have their first Vaccination which protects them against certain illnesses very common in puppies.

We post weekly updates of our puppies so you will see many photos and videos of the puppies until you are able to come meet them!

Long Coat GSD'S require regular grooming, are you able to commit to the grooming care they need or are you willing to take them to a professional groomer? *
We ask that all puppies desexed or neutered NOT BEFORE 1 year old to allow for their full development
This breed requires Socialising and Training from 8 weeks do you agree to take the puppy to the adequate classes/ training school ?
Do you agree to contact us in the case that you need to re-home this puppy for whatever reason?*

What to expect
Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Derharv Kennels but it does not guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

We do not reserve puppies without a deposit of $500

Balance of $2500 due at 7 -8 weeks old before the puppy leaves us

Deposits are refundable if either party is not happy to proceed at the 6 week old visit
