New members are required to attend a meeting to meet other members & be welcomed into our community. In the very unlikely event that membership is not approved, all fees paid would be refunded. In order to obtain access and satisfy health and safety requirements you will be required to attend an orientation session with an approved tutor (preferably, these will be organised in small groups) and at least one workshop/class. This will enable you to familiarize yourself with the use of the facilities in a competent and demonstrable way as well as demonstrate your knowledge and experience. Experienced printmakers should provide details of experience or demonstrate use of equipment.
Associate Membership. This membership entitles the member to receive emails, newsletters, opportunities to exhibit work in NPW exhibitions, attend NPW social events, receive discounts on NPW workshops and classes and attend general meetings.
Studio Tuesday and Thursday. This membership entitles the member access to the workshop facilities on Tuesdays and Thursday from 9:30am-12:30pm with a duty volunteer available during those times.
Independent Access Membership. This membership entitles the member to unlimited [day/night] access to the workshop & facilities - UNLESS the space is being used for workshop classes, openings & events, and at times when urgent or scheduled repairs are being carried out. In order to obtain independent access membership and satisfy health & safety requirements, the new member must attend a practical orientation to be organised with an approved tutor (preferably, these will be organised in small groups). Independent Access can only be provided if the Committee is confident that you are able to use the facilities in a competent and safe manner.
