Located on the parklands fringe, Carclew House is an iconic heritage listed property featuring green space, versatile ballroom & a range of other adaptable rooms used as creative space and the home of South Australia’s only multi-art form and cultural organisation dedicated to artistic outcomes by and for people aged 26 and under.

The grounds feature picturesque gardens with palm trees, vast lawn & paved areas overlooking the Festival centre. Carclew spaces can be used for a range of options including performances, exhibitions & rehearsals.
Rooms & spaces can be hired separately, in combination, or in total.
Ballroom: a highly adaptable room, perfect for performances, events, rehearsals & functions or use for exhibitions with 3.2m high ceilings, a hanging system & gallery lighting. Capacity: approx. 120 standing. 80 seated
House & grounds: includes use of the gardens, ballroom, boardroom, art room, toilets, foyer & carpark making it perfect for large events.Capacity: 400

Carclew is free from contracted ticketing, food and bar, staging and technical suppliers, which means you are free to choose and arrange your own. We do however have a list of reliable suggested suppliers that are familiar with Carclew.
