All entries must be made online via the form below by 5pm Friday 12th of October.
Exhibition runs from Tuesday 13th of November - Sunday 9th of December at the Pah Homestead, TSB Bank Wallace Arts Centre, 72 Hillsborough Rd, Auckland.
Selected members will be notified via email on 31st of October.
Selected works must be delivered to ASP Centre between the 5th and 9th of November.
Conditions of entry:
The Fire & Clay 2018 Exhibition is a selected exhibition, open to all current financial ASP members.
Works entered must have been made in the last 12 months, and must be the sole creation of the entrant (but may have been made in a class of instruction).
Each entrant may submit up to THREE entries, ONE of which may be a set (a group of pieces related to each other and sold as one work). All entries must be available for sale at a price specified by the artist. A commission of 40% (30% for the Wallace Arts Centre and 10% for ASP) will be deducted from the sale price. Please keep this in mind when pricing your work.
Entry fees are $20 for the first entry, and $10 each for 2nd and 3rd entries. Please make payment of the total amount via internet banking direct to our account 06-0996-0920949-00, using your initial and surname as the reference. If two or more members submit a collaborative work, they all must be financial members of ASP, and the entry counts as one of the three permitted entries for each member.
Submissions will only be accepted via the form below. The images uploaded must be a true representation of the work that will be submitted, and no larger than 2MB each. The selector reserves the right to do a final selection after viewing the pieces.
The selector this year is Kim Paton, Director of Objectspace.
Selected works must be securely packaged in closed boxes for transport, and delivered to ASP Centre between the 5th and 9th of November. The boxes must be labeled with the entrant's name. Entries delivered by courier must have the return courier tickets included.
Each piece must be labelled on the base with the entrant's name and sale price.
All work will be insured while in the care of ASP and in transit from ASP to the gallery. All freight and insurance in transit between the artist's studio and ASP is the responsibility of the entrant.
Please note: unsold entries cannot be picked up from the gallery. They will be transported to ASP, where they must be collected within one week as we do not have space for storage.
