  • Conditions of Boarding for MinibraeDogstayz

     (hereafter referred to as Minibrae) ​
    1. I acknowledge that it is the policy of Minibrae to allow the dog/s under its care to exercise outside within common exercise areas along with other dogs to be believed by Minibrae of a compatible nature. I consent to my dog/s being exercised and indemnify Minibrae against any suit or claim arising from any loss or injury to my dog/s whilst being so exercised.  I acknowledge that I will be responsible for any injury caused by my dog/s to another dog/s through aggression.

    2. I acknowledge that it is the policy of Minibrae to allow the dog/s to cohabitate within internal areas of the home with other dogs to be believed by Minibrae of a compatible nature. I consent to my dog/s being housed in this manner and indemnify Minibrae against any suit or claim arising from any loss or injury to my dog/s whilst being so housed.  I acknowledge that I will be responsible for any injury my dog/s may cause to another dog/s through aggression.

    3. Rates are charged by dogs size, however size can vary within a breed and Crossbreeds/Designer Dogs are charged as per similar dog size/height and will be adjusted up/down if required upon sighting dog/s.
    4. Cancellations must be made no later than 14 days prior to arrival date.
    5. I acknowledge dog/s are generally crated overnight indoors for sleeping and for morning and evening feeding.  Dog/s should be crate trained prior to attending Minibrae. Any damage to night crates will be charged to owner/agent and must be paid prior to collection of dog/s.

    6. The Minibrae manager has the right to refuse admission to any dog/s that is/are deemed unsuitable due to temperament. No refunds will be paid if pet arrives and is unsuitable to be housed.

    7. I understand that I must inform Minibrae if my dog/s has/have previously bitten anyone at all for any reason or shown any aggression of any type to human or animal. I understand that I will be held liable for all costs with regard to any injuries resulting from aggression.

    8. If it is deemed by Minibrae that it is detrimental for dog/s to remain on property due to acts of aggression, excessive anxiety, uncontrolable barking or destruction of property, Minibrae may contact owner/agent to attend to collect dog/s or owner/agent may elect to pay an additional fee of $50 per day. Any invoiced damage to property must be paid for prior to collection of dog/s.  No refunds will be given.

    9. I understand that under no circumstances will I attend my booking if my dog/s is unwell with sickness, diarrhea or contagious disease. I understand that should I attend as per above I will be liable for all costs due to any spread to other dogs at Minibrae as well as for all sterilization of all boarding facilities internally and externally as deemed appropriate by Minibrae. Additional care, laundering and quarantine fees of $50 per day will apply.

    10. Under no circumstances will Minibrae, or any of its employees or agents be responsible for death, injury, loss or sickness of any kind whatsoever including but not limited to Paralysis Tick, Canine Influenza, or Kennel Cough that may occur to dog/s whilst/from staying at Minibrae.

    11. Under no circumstances will Minibrae, or any of its employees or agents, be held responsible for any items lost, destroyed or left with dog/s on these premises such as toys, bedding, collars, etc.

    12. The owner acknowledges that if the said dog/s is found to be dirty, has fleas or requires grooming on arrival the client will be informed of the necessity to facilitate such care/grooming and will charged accordingly.

    13. Minibrae supplies all premium pet foods.  To qualify for food discount for 'Owner Supplied' food, any food requiring mixing/portioning (other than dry) that is sent with your dog/s will need to be packaged in daily portions clearly labelled with the dog/s name.

    14. All/any medications accompanying dog/s must be in original packaging accompanied by Veterinary instructional label.

    15. Dog/s must be dropped off and picked up as per Booking Form submission DATE and TIME.

    16. Any After Hours attendance is charged a $50 fee and is totally at the discretion of and approved by Minibrae.

    17. OFF SITE Collection/Drop Off times need to be adhered to.  If unable to do so it may be necessary for dog/s to be brought to Minibrae.  Wait times by Minibrae will be charged at $40 per hour or part thereof.

    18. ​Regarding accident or illness Minibrae will make all reasonable attempts to contact owner/agent of dog/s.  If unable to do so Minibrae will make the decision in the best interest for the dog/s and may be taken to a Veterinary Practice.  All Veterinary bills will be required to be paid by the Owner/Agent as per Conditions of Boarding.

    19. I acknowledge should my dog/s need be taken to a Veterinary Practice, transport and care fees will be charged at $40.00 per hour or part thereof.  If vehicle sterilization is required it will be charged at $40.00 per hour or part thereof plus materials.

    20. I acknowledge I must pay all costs and charges for special services requested and all veterinarian costs for dog/s during the time the said dog/s is in the care of Minibrae.

    21. Owner/Agent agrees to give permission to Minibrae to allow personal information regarding Owner/Agent and dog/s to be given to or received from a duly licensed Veterinarian.

    22. Owner/Agent acknowledges that the signing of this contract shall create a lien over dog/s in favour of Minibrae. This lien will exist for so long as monies are owing pursuant to this contract.  Should monies owed to Minibrae not be paid Minibrae has the right to offer dog/s for sale. If such sale does not secure a price adequate to cover the cost of the debt, Owner/Agent is liable to Minibrae for the difference.  Minibrae may take this course of action 14 days past Departure Date if no acknowledged correspondence has been received by Minibrae.

    23. By signing these conditions and leaving dog/s with Minibrae, Owner/Agent certifies to the accuracy of all information given about dog/s.

  • PAYMENT Terms and Conditions

    1. PEAK SEASON BOOKINGS (Christmas and Easter School Holidays) require a $50.00 non refundable deposit on receipt of invoice.
    2. Booking cancelled after 7 days if deposit is not received. Balance to be paid no later than 14 days prior to arrival date.
    3. NON-PEAK Bookings to be paid no later than the day of arrival via direct deposit (cleared) or by Card on arrival (2.00% fee).
    4. There is no refund or credit for early holiday returns.  Full period booked will be charged.
    5. Refunds will only be offered up to 15 days prior to arrival booking date.
    6. Late cancellations within 14 days prior to arrival date will only be given a refund if those dates are re-filled otherwise a credit will be given for 12 months from booked arrival date.
