WHAT ARE COMMUNITY NOTICES?
Simply, these are brief messages recorded by the station to inform listeners about upcoming events, as well as community groups and services available to the public.
IS THERE A COST INVOLVED?
No, Community Notices are a free service provided by Manawatu Peoples Radio!
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE INFORMATION PROVIDED HERE:
We will use the information received as the basis of a script for your notice.
If you don't think the information can fit into a 30-45 second notice, we're also happy to do an interview to get your message across! We can arrange a time for you to come in and share your message with us!
Once recorded, the notices are put into a rotation and broadcast at random throughout the day during breaks in programming (roughly every half-hour from 8am-12am).
Interviews are broadcast throughout the week on our Morning Show, and then made available OnDemand here.
