Australia’s largest Lantern Parade celebration and the popular Lucky Dumpling Market return to Adelaide in 2018! The Festival dates are Thursday 25 October to Sunday 11 November 2018 with the Moon Lantern Parade occurring on Saturday 27 October.
We are excited to announce that the redevelopment project between the Adelaide Festival Centre and Elder Park is complete. This will will see the return of performance stages to Elder Park for the Moon Lantern Parade and will provide added viewing areas for members of the public.
The Convention Centre Lawn (beside the Riverbank Footbridge) will again play host to the popular Lucky Dumpling Market. It will transport you to the streets of Asia, a playground of free performances, great music from across the region and a feast of food to tantalise the tastebuds.
There are a variety of ways you can contribute to this year’s OzAsia Festival including:
Roving and Stage performances at the Moon Lantern Parade on Saturday 27 October 2018 from 4pm
Performing at the Lucky Dumpling Market between Thursday 25 October and Sunday 11 November 2018
Workshops at either of these events. Workshops are a wonderful was to expose your culture to the general public and can be of any time duration.
