Vice President Question:It is the day before your last TLG club meeting for your large fundraising event and the club president has informed the committee they are unwell and cannot make the only time everyone is available for (as vice president, you are expected to run all meeting agenda items of the president in their absence). How would you approach preparing for this meeting to achieve a successful meeting for a well planned event?
Treasurer Question:One of your fellow committee members asks for you to give them the club bank card, which only you and the president are supposed to use. How do you respond to this person, and what alternatives would you offer them?
Secretary Question:You have made a doodle poll to find a set fortnightly two hour meeting time and day and no time works for everyone on the committee. You find that two time slots are most popular. On Saturday from 11am-3pm, all club exec (president, vice president, yourself and treasurer) are free, at the expense of two OCMs. On Thursdays from 1-5pm, all club committee members are free at the expense of the vice president. How would you decide which date and time you would choose?
Ordinary Committee Member Question:The president has decided to allocate the last small fundraising event of the semester to the three OCMs of the committee. Already this semester you have had a Rural Program promotional barbecue, a documentary screening, a quiz night and an education-related panel discussion. Taking into consideration your event has to be a profitable and marketable success, what original event idea would you suggest at the next meeting and why?
