Promotion
It is essential for non Auckland based artists to actively promote their show. Publicists and local support acts can greatly assist in the success of a show
The Venue does not manage ticketing or door staff, you will have to manage this yourself. Eftpos facilities, paypal or bank transfur are all options along with cash sales. (please note that the bar does not have cash on hand for people to get cash out at the bar)
We recommend a Facebook event and UTR ticket link. Other Social media platforms such as twitter, Instagram are also important but only if you have a presence on them that you want to utilise. Share and Invite people in your social networks, please don't "promote" posts even if you have the budget consider spending it locally
Under The Radar (www.utr.co.nz)
Not only a comprehensive gig guide but perhaps the widest editorial coverage of contemporary music in NZ and a very easy to use ticketing platform. Ticketing is a very good idea, unlike social media intentions and Real life promises a sold ticket is reliable.

Shout Media

Most radio stations have gig guides and its often just a case of contacting the station which is most appropriate for your given genre/s www.95bFM.com , and www.rnz.co.nz especially have specialist shows and journalists that cover a huge range of genre and can make a big difference in reaching your audience.
