The Guild understands that sometimes finance is a constraint when considering the big events/activities that clubs want to plan and implement. This is why we want to support you in thinking big.
It is important to remember that additional funding is not a means of quickly paying debt, but a way clubs can innovate and expand, benefiting current and future members alike.
Our objective for the additional club funding resources, is to take QUT’s culture to a new level by giving clubs and societies the tools they need to think big, innovate and reach even more students than before.
Please read and understand the terms and conditions of the QUT Guild additional funding service below.
The use of additional funding:
The use of the funding will be predetermined before the application is accepted. Once the funding has been approved, our campus culture representatives will work your planning committee to put your venture to action.
Agreement once approved:
As a way of monitoring and controlling any Guild additional funding expenditure, the campus culture representatives will be active in clubs’ activities (relevant to the use of funding) from the very beginning. This includes initial consultation regarding the use of the funds and involvement throughout the planning stages. Depending on the requirements of the activity, we may need to better assist you in your venture by outsourcing expertise regarding the club/society plan.
When the Guild is to fund a venture, it is to be agreed between said club executives and the Guild that the venture is fully cobranded with QUT Guild marketing material*. In return, the Guild offers finance and guidance specific to the task.
Please fill out the information below in as much detail as possible.
*Marketing material is subject to the type of venture in which the club uses the funding for. For example, this includes, but is not limited to: logos on flyers, logos on all branding.
