Show Rules
1. All exhibits must be entered into their breed class before being entered into any duplicate classes.
2. All exhibitors wishing to participate in the Council Championship scheme must be members of RCNZ, and their exhibits must be registered with RCNZ at the time of exhibiting.
3. Only exhibits with RCNZ issued rings or tattoos are eligible to enter the registered classes. Exhibits with rings and tattoos issued by any other organisation can ONLY be entered in the unregistered classes.
4. All trophies must be signed for before leaving the show venue and only RCNZ members will be permitted to take trophies home.
5. RCNZ does not take any responsibility for the loss of, or damage to any travelling boxes or cages. However, every care will be taken to ensure their safety.
6. RCNZ show rules will be strictly enforced at this show.
7. For stock arriving by air, please notify the Show Secretary so that arrangements can be made for housing and collection from the airport. Please advise flight number and approximate time of arrival. Stock will be returned on the morning of the day following the show.
8. Any exhibitor wishing to uplift their exhibits before the end of the show must get permission to do so from the Show Manager before the show commences, otherwise all stock will remain penned until de-benching is announced.
9. All exhibits must be 12 weeks of age
10. Prize giving will be held at the conclusion of the show - approximately 4.00pm.
9. Note: The Rabbit Council of New Zealand Inc will take no responsibility for any loss of stock, any illness due to contracting RCD at this show. The Rabbit Council strongly recommends that all stock shown at this show is vaccinated at least two weeks prior to show day. The Rabbit Council of New Zealand will take all precautions necessary to avoid any contact with RCD.
10. DISCLAIMER
The Rabbit Council of NZ accepts NO RESPONSIBILITY for the health and well being of any animal exhibited at this show or any animal that may contract RCD/RHD (Calicivirus) or any other disease or virus from a rabbit exhibited at this show.
11. Due to rabbits being vaccinated for protection against RCD, Allowances will be made for hair loss at the vaccination site. OPEN WOUNDS will not be accepted.
12. No feral, feral cross or deformed rabbits may be entered or brought into the show hall. The show committee has the final say on accepting all rabbits entered and brought into the show venue.
13. It is now a requirement that water is supplied to your rabbit in its show pen while at the show venue.
14. A reminder to all exhibitors to treat their rabbits for mites at least 2 - 3 weeks before show date. Mites on rabbits will mean disqualification.
