The South Australian screen industry has a long and illustrious history contributing to the national film and television production sector and bringing local stories to a global audience for over 75 years.
The Mercury Award for outstanding contribution to the South Australian screen industry debuts at the 2018 SASAs on the 20th of April.
The Mercury Award is an opportunity to recognise the significant contribution, creative vision, and leadership made by a South Australian screen industry professional to the South Australian and wider screen industry.
Nominees should be screen industry professionals who have demonstrated track record in the industry. They can be from any specialisation whether technical, craft, or creative, or have held an executive or leadership position in the industry.
There are many who have contributed and continue to contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the South Australian screen industry. This is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of a leading light of our industry.
The Mercury Award celebrates a high level of excellence and achievement.
