  • The ANU School of Art & Design Foyer Space is an access gallery coordinated by ANU School of Art & Design Staff. Proposals are assessed twice a year by the Gallery Committee. Priority will be given to ANU Staff and Students, School of Art & Design and University activities and special events. The Gallery is highly interested in exhibitions and events that contribute to the School and curatorial programs.

    Exhibition proposals are now open for the second half of our 2018 calendar (July - November).

    • Only online applications submitted through the form below form will be accepted.
    • Please review the gallery's Terms and Conditions before submitting your proposal. 

    SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY MIDNIGHT, SUNDAY 25 FEBRUARY 2018

    Applicants will be contacted in April 2018 regarding the results of their proposal.

    REQUIRED APPLICATION DETAILS:

    1. Contact Details of someone responsible for organising the exhibition
    2. Exhibition Information including: Title of the exhibition; involved artists and curators; preferred time of year; interested in doing an artist talk?
    3. A proposal of the exhibition including; proposal concept and installation details (up to 400 words)
    4. Images (5-10)
    5. A one page CV of each artist/curator involved
    6. Optional online content such as personal websites or video links.

    The form cannot be saved and must be completed in a single session.

    Keep text in a separate document and cut and paste into the form as you go. A review copy of the completed form will be available at the end of the process.

  • EXHIBITION INFORMATION
    The School of Art & Design Gallery will endeavour to meet your preferences for the timing of your exhibition; however please note that this is not always possible. 
    The standard exhibition period is two weeks.

  • SUPPORT MATERIAL | PROPOSAL

    Please provide a concise description of the exhibition including: the type of artwork; conceptual/curatorial premise of the exhibition; and installation requirements. 

  • SUPPORT MATERIAL | IMAGES 

    Please provide 5 to10 images of the artists in the exhibition and indicate whether the image depicts an indicative work or the actual artwork for the proposed exhibition.

  • SUPPORT MATERIAL | CV

    Please provide a ONE page CV for each artist/curator involved in the exhibition. If possible, please collate these into a single PDF.

  • ADDITIONAL SUPPORT MATERIAL(OPTIONAL)

    Please submit an artist website or video link such as Vimeo or YouTube.
    Make sure to press SAVE after each entry. You can submit multiple entries.
