Beginning in 2018, Middletown will enter into a new Township-wide garbage & recycling contract which will last for the next 5 years. In the best interest of our taxpayers, it was necessary to move forward in the direction of Township-wide garbage and recycling due to the increase in bid costs to maintain the current (in-district) garbage and town-wide recycling contract.

The following calculator is for informational purposes only and calculates what the impact would have been if we maintained the status quo versus using the economy of scale of town-wide collections.
