Congratulations on the success of your child/children at the S.E.A examination. The transition from primary school to secondary school is a critical point in a student’s education journey as they negotiate the changes in the new secondary school environment.
The Ministry to Men(MTM) and Anglican Church Men’s Society(ACMS) of the Holy Saviour Anglican Parish are inviting you and your child/children to the 2017 FREE SEMINAR on TRANSITION FROM PRIMARY TO SECONDARY SCHOOL for parents/guardians and students who are entering secondary school in September 2017. The seminar is scheduled to be held on SATURDAY 26th AUGUST 2017 from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm at Holy Saviour Anglican Church Hall, Frederick Street, Curepe. To register please fill out the attached form with your contact information in order to facilitate proper planning before AUGUST 23, 2017.
Facilitators from various disciplines would address issues that include:
- What is the importance of spiritual values in the student’s life?
- What are the differences between the primary and secondary schools?
- What are the expectations and responsibilities of students and parents?
- How can students mature challenged by social and inter-personal Issues?
- How can students develop self-discipline to manage study, school and recreation?
