  • Health Outcomes

    Indicate whether and how your event/activity addresses any of the Health Outcomes below. It is not mandatory for events/activities to address a Health Outcome. Please only select if relevant to your event/activity.

  • Domains of Practice

    Indicate the Domains of Practice that apply to the event/activity and how these outcomes will address the ACEM Curriculum Framework. All events/activities should address at least one Domain of Practice.

  • Required Attachments

  • Please attach the following:

    • A program/timetable/schedule that clearly indicates the event/activity duration, breakdown of session timing, and differentiates between CPD Categories where applicable (e.g. 2 hours of lectures (EA) followed by 45 minutes of case study discussion (RP) or 1 hour of skills-based scenario simulation (EA) followed by 15 minutes of team performance debrief (RP).
    • Further information relating to any of the above questions which does not fit in the space provided (if applicable)

    • ACEM requires a list of ACEM CPD participants within 10 days of completion of the activity. Please email details to cpd@acem.org.au

    Applications WILL NOT be processed if:

    • The applicable domains of practice are not specified
    • Information on how those domains will address the ACEM curriculum framework is not provided
    • The conference program, schedule or outline showing timing for all sessions is not provided
    • Payment information is omitted/incomplete/inaccurate, or if payment is declined

    Advice to Applicants

    Approval for CPD is reported in hours. Differential weighting of activities is not applicable

    ACEM accepts advertisements for organisations wishing to promote CPD events. Information and the relevant application form is available on the ACEM website

    Processing of applications may take between 10-15 working days

    Cancellation of your ACEM Activity Approval

    The ACEM CPD Committee reserves the right to revoke approval of any activity if:

    • You do not distribute the ACEM CPD Activity Approval Evaluation form to participating ACEM CPD participants, directly following the activity
    • You do not provide ACEM CPD with a list of all ACEM CPD Participants who have completed the activity
    • Feedback from participants indicates that the required elements of the activity were not met

  • Payment

    Please note: if the provider/organisation is a registered charity, not-for-profit, providing this activity pro-bono, or there is no fee payable by delegates to participate/attend the activity, the application fee will be waived by the College.

  • Acknowlegement

     

    I acknowledge that:

    • ACEM CPD activity approval does NOT imply endorsement of the event
    • ACEM CPD activity approval does NOT permit use of the College logo, but does include the use of the ACEM CPD Activity approval logo.
    • The ACEM CPD Committee reserves the right to revoke activity approval if the post activity requirement is not provided or the CPD Unit receive feedback from participants indicating required elements of the activity are not met.
    • I am obligated to invite ACEM CPD participants to provide feedback using the ACEM CPD Activity Approval Evaluation Form provided
    • That the required elements listed on the previous page are addressed with this activity
