    Please use this form to report a loss of power at your address. Your details will be passed onto the local Distributor who will send a technician to check your network connection. The Distributor is only responsible for their network and the connection to the wires leading to your property. If the problem is in the wires leading to or in your property you will need to call an electrician to get it sorted.

  • If your neighbours are also out of power then it is likely an area outage and Wellington Electricity will already be attending. You can check to see if there is an area electricity fault using the Wellington Electricity app OutageCheck.

    You do not need to stay home as they will have your contact number.

    If you are moving into a property please check the mains switch to see if it has been switched off before submitting this form.
