PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY
Pawprint Foundation rescues animals only when a foster carer is available. If you agree to foster an animal - especially an animal that is being transported from a pound, is being surrendered or is being delivered to a meetup point with you - please take very seriously that our ability and commitment to that animal's rescue has been made possible on the basis of your availability and your commitment to that animal.
Changing your mind when the animal is in transit or shortly after its arrival is not just hugely stressful for the animal, but for our entire team. Making a rescued animal 'homeless' in this way is devastating for all involved.
Before you agree to take a foster cat or kitten into your home, please think seriously about the implications of withdrawing your agreement and only accept a foster proposal with the full intention of honouring your agreement.
Carers that can take at least 2 cats or kittens are highly desired.
Regular and quarantine foster periods are for a minimum of 2 weeks. However, foster carers that can care for a cat or kitten until it finds its forever home are preferred.
We can never predict how long it will take to rehome a particular cat or kitten. But we do know that every time we move a cat or kitten, the move causes it stress.
