Before you continue, please carefully read this and mark below that you have read and understood this section before continuing your Application:
Pawprint Foundation rescues animals only when a foster carer is available. If you agree to foster animals - especially those being transported directly from a pound or surrender or kitten rescue to you, or at a meetup point with you - please take very seriously that our ability and commitment to rescue has been made possible on the basis of your availability and your commitment to those animals. Changing your mind whilst the animal is in transport or shortly after arrival is hugely stressful for not only the animals, but our entire team of volunteers and making a rescued animal 'homeless' in such a situation is devastating for everyone involved. So, before you agree to accept a foster, please thinks seriously about the implications of withdrawing your agreement and only accept a foster proposal with the full intention of honouring your agreement to take on that foster and truly save a life.
Carers that can take at least TWO cats/kittens are highly desirable.
Regular and Quarantine foster periods (excluding emergency and Kitten Scouts) are for a minimum of at least 2 weeks however foster carers that can care for their fosters until they find their forever homes are preferred. Our adoption rates are quite favourable due to our low adoption fees but we do ask you to consider being prepared, especially if your foster/s need a few weeks or even longer. If you have ANY CONCERNS about this, please speak with us before completing your Foster Carer Application Form.
