I acknowledge that Disabled Wintersport Australia make every effort to provide up to date equipment, fit for service and that it is my responsibility to inspect to best of my ability, the equipment supplied prior to use.I agree that if anything appears to be unsafe, I will immediately advise the appropriate staff of such condition and refuse to participate in skiing/ boarding.I acknowledge and understand that snow sports are potentially dangerous, including risks of damage, injury or death, and that I participate at my own risk.I further acknowledge that under no circumstances will Disabled Wintersport Australia, or its authorised staff and appointed representatives, be held responsible for damage, injury or death to me or my companions arising from the use of their equipment.I understand and acknowledge that it is my responsibility to undertake lessons from a qualified snow sports instructor and that I must always use the equipment properly, safely and within my skill level. Disabled Wintersport Australia recommends that a helmet should be worn while participating in snow sports.I agree to indemnify you for any claim that may be made against any member of the Disabled Wintersport Australia (whether directly or indirectly) in connection with my use of equipment, including but not limited to any claim arising out of any damage, injury or death to me or any third parties.

I acknowledge that Disabled Wintersport Australia encourages all members undertake lessons from qualified snow sports instructors.I understand that Disabled Wintersport Australia will make every effort to recruit and train volunteer snowsport guides and that the availability of volunteers is not always guaranteed. If a snow sport guide is not available for the period that I wish to ski/ride, I understand that it is my responsibility to book a private lesson with a qualified snow sports instructor. (DWA member's concessions may apply).I acknowledge that a snow sport guide is not an instructor and their assistance is given to reinforce skills learnt in a snow sport school lesson, and that they are not expected to teach/instruct. I acknowledge and understand that snow sports are potentially dangerous, including a risk of damage injury or death, and that I participate at my own riskI further acknowledge that under no circumstances can Disabled Wintersport Australia, or its authorised staff, appointed representatives or volunteers be held responsible for damage, injury or death arising from the use of their equipment or services such as snow sport guides.I agree to use the equipment properly, ski/ride safely and within my skill level. If I am not skiing/riding safely, I acknowledge that a snow sport guide is well within their rights to refuse to continue guiding and report me to ski patrol, in the best interest of my own safety and the safety of others.
