Reservations for parties of 5 or fewer riders require no payment until after your ride. You can reschedule or cancel your reservation at any time. We only ask to be notified ASAP of any changes to your schedule.

Private sunset rides and parties of 6 or more riders are made and guaranteed by credit card only.

All reservations MUST be confirmed the day before your scheduled ride by 12:00 PM. Call 409-256-0663 to confirm your reservation. FAILURE TO CONFIRM WILL RESULT IN THE AUTOMATIC CANCELLATION OF YOUR RESERVATION (STRICTLY ENFORCED). This rule permits for continued free reservations.

Ride Times:

The first ride of the day starts at 11:00 AM and the last ride of the day starts at 5:00 PM. Sunset times are reserved for the Private Sunset Ride.

Your reservation will be scheduled as close as possible to the preferred time provided. Entering a time preferred does not guarantee a specific ride time. If a time preferred is not provided, you will be scheduled in the first available time slot. The confirmation email will provide the time of your reservation.

A two-horse minimum is required to reserve a Private Sunset Ride.

Private Sunset rides begin approximately one hour before the official sunset time. You will receive an email with your specific arrival time depending on the sunset time for that day.

Private sunset ride reservations are made and guaranteed by credit card only. You are required to pay a deposit of 1/2 the total at the time of the reservation, and the remaining balance after your ride.

If the preferred date is not available and an alternate date is not possible, you will not be charged.

If your ride is canceled due to an unforeseen event (e,g, bad weather, mechanical failure, a full refund will be issued)

For a full refund, you must cancel/reschedule your reservation by 12:00 PM the day before your scheduled ride.
If you cancel/reschedule your reservation after 12:00 PM the day before your scheduled ride or fail to arrive before your scheduled time, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Refunds are credited to the card used for the reservation.

It is standard protocol for all participants to be weighed before the ride. Though 220 lb is our max weight, some of our horses have a lower max.

After submitting this request, you should immediately receive an automated email letting you know we have received your form. This is NOT confirmation of your reservation.

Within 24 hours of submitting your request, you will receive an email titled "GIHPR reservation" confirming your reservation. No reservation is finalized without email confirmation.
