When your graduate group is selling alcohol or food in fundraising or supplying it with a door charge, it MUST comply with Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 and the Food Act 1984 or face penalties under the Act. Please review the application for a temporary liquour license where relevant, University's Alcohol Safety Checklist, Victoria's Food Act for Fundraising, and review the requirements of food premise registration with the relevant Council.
If you served alcohol, please attach a copy of the University's Alcohol Safety Checklist.
Managing a camping activity requires graduate groups to take extra precautions to ensure that a first aider is present at all times, there is a foodhandling plan, all participants are accounted for, and that there is an emergency plan. Please attach these below.
While this may not be relevant to off-campus bookings, the following University policies must still be reviewed before running any events:
Events Health and Safety Management
Risk Assessment and Authorisation Form
Alcohol Management and Safety Checklist
