  • ARAN Fosterers Agreement

  • An ARAN representative will contact you to arrange a visit to ensure the dog is unable to escape

  • Please note that all ARAN Rescue dogs are inside dogs

  • Most of ARAN's rescue dogs come from the Pound and we often have no background information, but they may have suffered abuse and stress and will need plenty of time to acclimistise and recover.  Once they have been able to do this, they usually thrive with positive, gentle training methods and their personalities start to shine through.

We try to match the right foster dog to your experience and lifestyle.  Should you discover that you are unable to manage, we would appreciate due notice in order to have time to find another foster home for the dog.  We request that you provide a weekly update on the dog's progress and, of course there will always be someone on the other end of the phone (or computer) to help with any issues that may arise.

We are all volunteers, but ARAN will always help with food costs, if necessary, and cover all veterinary expenses of our foster dogs.

  • Important: I agree that it is not my task to find my foster dog a home and that I will keep the dog in my care alone until ARAN Animal Rescue finds a suitable permanent home, although I may be asked to meet potential adopters to discuss the dog.  I agree that no potential adopter will leave my property with the dog unless I acccompany them.

  • I understand that the dog may have suffered cruelty and neglect and will care for him/her to the best of my ability.  I will abide by ARAN Animal Rescue's fostering guidance and agreement.
