The 6 sessions times are as follows: May 1(Orientation) then 2, 9, 16 - 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm - May 3,10, 17 - 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. If Registering as a couple then there is a need to have separate Computers and to be in different rooms, as we will break out into virtual chat rooms for discussions.

As I enter into the spirit of the Village Encounter, I do so with joyful expectation of what God may be saying to me in a new open mind and heart knowing that whilst based on the fundamentals of an Emmaus walk being is a new expression of meeting Jesus along the Emmaus Road.

I will commit to the designated times, avoid disturbances and centre myself in a Holy Place. This will become like your quiet “prayer closet.” Your Computer screen is your window to the VE Community with whom should have lighting in front of you, Pilgrim Guide (which will be provided), a cross and open Bible. Definitely a pen and paper, water, and a comfortable chair. Bread or a wafer available to share in the Breaking of Bread service. There will be breaks to stretch your legs and refresh. Then an open mind and heart.
