TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PAYMENT OF FEES
Bookings will not be confirmed until full payment is received.
If you are paying weekly, payment will automatically be deducted from your card in accordance with the Credit Card Authorisation form. If the Authorisation form is not provided, payment will be required in full before your booking is confirmed.
If your child is unable to attend a session you will still be charged the full fee. There are no fee reductions if your child misses a session. Private health receipts are not issued in the case of missed sessions.
Parents who choose Option C Weekly payments (School Term groups only), must complete a Credit Card Authorisation Form for weekly payments to be deducted. If this is not provided before the first session, full payment will be required for your child to attend. Please note you will still be charged for missed sessions.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
There are no refunds for the 30-minute initial consultation.
If you have paid for the program in full and decide not to proceed for whatever reason, the consultation fee, as well as an administration fee of $50.00, will be deducted.
If you have paid for the program in full and decide not to proceed for whatever reason and it is within 7 days of the group start date, there are NO REFUNDS. Your payment will be credited towards individual sessions or you can use it as credit towards another CK group.
If you have paid for the program in full and decide not to proceed for whatever reason and it is not within 7 days of the group start date, we will issue a refund (less deductions). The remaining balance will be refunded by direct bank transfer 2 – 4 weeks after we receive your notification.
No refunds or credits will be issued once the program has commenced.
If your child commences the group program and you decide not to continue for whatever reason, any remaining credit will be transferred to the equivalent in individual sessions.
If you decide to transfer your credit towards individual sessions we do not provide a refund if you decide not to use the credit.
We reserve the right to change the scheduled date and/or time to make sure we meet the minimum number of participants ( 3 participants). If there is a scheduling change we will contact you within 3 to 5 days of the scheduled start date to advise the new date and time. If you are unable to attend the group on the new start date, we will provide a credit for a future group or individual sessions.
Parents (or Guardians) must complete and sign the enrolment form and return to Positive Families before the group begins.
Enrolments are processed on a first-come basis and places can only be confirmed with payment in full and acknowledgement of agreement of the Terms & Conditions of Enrolment.
If a child commences in the group and we consider the program to be unsuitable, we reserve the right to withdraw the child. In this situation, any remaining credit can be transferred to individual sessions or we will issue a refund (less deductions).
The age ranges advertised for each level are indicative only. If at the Program Director's discretion, the ages within a group are varied, the age differences will be no more than 3 years. (Please note we have not had to vary group ages since the program commenced in 2008).
The groups consist of boys and girls and there may be any configuration when the group begins.
Confident Kids is an educational group designed to teach participants particular skills and provide education and strategies regarding social and emotional wellbeing. The group is not a treatment intervention. There are no guarantees that attending the group will "fix" an issue. Your child may require individual therapy sessions in order to explore issues and concerns in more depth with the psychologist.
If your child is sick or unable to attend a session there are no payment deductions for missed sessions. An individual 50-minute makeup session can be booked at the reduced rate of $120.00 (A private health receipt will be issued in this instance). Parents who are paying weekly will still be charged for the missed session.
PHOTOS AND OTHER MEDIA
Occasionally, the facilitator may take a group photo as a momento to give to each child at the final session. On occasion, we may video the group practicing skills in order to provide feedback (generally Level 3 only). Any media is only taken to assist the group and remains confidential. Please advise us in writing prior to the commencement of the program if you have any concerns.
