Naming your jam group.
(This page will only display if there is a primary applicant completing this form).
You could think of a jam group as a club or team so naming a group is open to anything really. For instance the first Melbourne group is called the "bogus body art" jam group.
How many groups per state?
We have not yet set a limit to the number jam groups per state that AFABA will offer support to. Until the demand is greater it may best to keep this to a minimum. If there is an AFABA jam group already established in your state, please let us know if you are interested in establishing another. It may work against both your group and any exisiting group if you are located close to one-another. If you do create an additional jam group it may be best to work together with another group so that you make sure that your dates don't clash. This may be a way to offer more jams if there is a demand for it and avoid losing members and your attendance diminishing.
We want to encourage team work and running a jam group successfully under AFABA guidelines will take some effort so the more to help the better. Please consider this carefully when you decide to create a new jam group. We feel it is best to start slowly and build up to a larger attendance.
If it turns out you have more success than anticipated we'll do what we can to help you manage with the workflow and the AFABA member's site is being prepared for that.
