The first VSB Sustainability Conference (VSBSC) in 2013 succeeded in educating numerous students from 14 VSB schools about sustainability through engaging workshops and inspiring keynote speakers, along with a networking session, a NGO fair, and a school planning session.
Last year we managed to gather all 18 VSB schools to come together for another brilliant sustainability conference.
This year in 2015 we aim to go further with what we achieved last year, but we need your help. Volunteers will be needed to organize, prepare, decorate, and much more for the conference. The conference will be held on Monday, April 27th (Professional Development Day)
About 20 to 30 volunteers will be chosen, along with 5 volunteer team leaders will be picked out of the people who are interested in the role. To become a volunteer team leader, you will be required to give a short description about yourself.
Including a mandatory informative session (15~20 minutes), set up, and the conference, you will receive approximately 8 volunteer hours, and team leaders will get 10. The number of hours you get may change during the course of the following weeks.
In order to be qualified to volunteer for the VSBSC, you need to be attending a VSB school.
