Council and the State Historical Society of Missouri invite proposals from humanities scholars who wish to participate in the 2014 "Show Me Missouri" Speakers' Bureau. Scholars who are selected to participate in this program will be expected to make up to four presentations during the year. Scholars will receive a $200 honorarium for each presentation, plus reimbursement for up to $150 in travel expenses.
Presentations should focus on some aspect of Missouri's past, present or future. Scholars are limited to two proposals for 2014 and should submit a completed form for each proposal.

If your proposal is for a "living history" or Chautauqua-type presentation, you must submit an audition tape or a link to a YouTube video.
