• The Food Court - Open Call for Projects

  • Thank you for your interest in The Food Court.

This form is an on-going open call for projects.

We encourage all applicants to visit the space before applying.

    Contact: hello@the-food-court.net.au

  • Info:

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from individual artists, collectives, curators, groups and organisations.

We are interested in workshops, talks, exhibitions, projects, arts events, launches, short residencies, performances, screenings and anything else that exists between these modes.

We will be particularly receptive to events which involve the public, including the Docklands and greater Melbourne communities.

The Waterfront City site has a lot of potential, and there may be opportunities to discuss the potential for projects to work outside of the Food Court venue, working with Docklands Spaces to engage cross-collaboration projects, water-based projects, or projects that use the outdoor amphitheatre and general surrounds.

We require a space fee from all artists to cover operational costs, and this can be negotiated in consultation with each artist and project budget.

Large screen, projector and PA system also available for hire (events).

Residency projects should result in a public presentation or exhibition at The Food Court.
