SPONSORING A CHILD
For just £22 a month you can play a vital role in providing education, basic health care, food and love to a child in the Manuelito Children’s Home in Honduras.

Twice a year you will receive a letter from your sponsored child as well as yearly progress reports and a photo.

You will be able to write to your child and know that your support is making a difference.
The Manuelito Children’s home has been supported since its early days by Street Kids Direct, our local charity helping street kids in Latin America.

All the children in the home have come directly from the streets or from situations of severe risk or abuse. They take a long time to feel at home and loved but with constant care, commitment, boundaries and love they respond well and go on to lead full and healthy lives.

Manuelito has recently employed three female teachers who have come off the streets, grown up in the home, studied at college and graduated as primary school teachers.

Global Care is our trusted partner and handle all the sponsorship of the children in the Manuelito home.
